Families in Transition (F.I.T.)
If you have lost your housing due to economic hardship, natural disaster, or other similar reason, and are living temporarily with friends or relatives, or in a shelter, motel, vehicle, or campground, on the street, or in an abandoned building, then you are eligible to receive services provided under the McKinney-Vento Act. The Families in Transition Program offered through Leon County Schools can help you connect with services to help you through this difficult time.
To enroll in the FIT Program, complete the Student Residency Questionnaire linked below and submit it to your school's registrar, or contact our office for assistance.
